What a workday with us involves

We visit and scope. We sit down with you, walk your site, and pick a project a crew can finish in a day, such as a build, a cleanup, a paint job, or a food pack. We plan the tasks, tools, and materials, and your only job is approving the plan.
We recruit the crew. We put the event on our calendar, promote it, and fill it. We guarantee a baseline crew from our core group, so your workday does not fall through.
We run the day. Our trained team leader runs the volunteers from arrival through cleanup, while you or someone from your team stays on site to answer questions. We leave the place tidier than we found it.

Good workday projects

Builds and repairs, including decks, ramps, sheds, fences, painting, and minor carpentry
Grounds work, including cleanups, clearing, mulching, and playground refreshes
Interior work, including painting, assembly, moving, and organizing a space
Sorting and packing, including food, clothing, school supplies, and donation intake

A good project is one a crew of ten to twenty people can start and finish between morning and early afternoon. If you are not sure whether yours fits, ask and we will scope it with you.

Licensed electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work is not part of a volunteer workday. If your project needs any of it, tell us early and we will help you find the right trade.
